Large Fries
A cheap and simple seafood snack, Crispy Dilis sits high in my pulutan rankings. These brave smelt were lightly breaded, deep fried and tossed with cilantro and toasted serrano, basil, and garlic. A citrus spritzing and vinegar dunking melee followed.
On the carton:

Thirdly, the dilis are long and slender. And being fried... they're fries! And therefore, I had to do this. I modeled the carton after a fast food large fries paper unit. It was a fun little project, but on a serious note: renewable fragrant biodegradable packaging exploration is worth the lab minutes.
